Canny
An old tin can was placed on the kerb with a lolly stick for each player with their name written on the top, a ball was thrown at the tin.
The person whose stick landed closest to the tin was "on".
The other players had to run in and pick up their stick and replace it on the tin and shout "Canny. canny. canny. canny 123."
The player who was "on" had to throw the ball and hit the players before they could complete this, If you were hit you took no further part until the game was over.
This could be a painfull game depending on what type of ball was used ie tennis or cricket!
