Does anyone remember a game where you stood facing another person (was usually girls) and did a slapping togeather of hands in a specific sequence, or to a song?

| I have been looking for a site like this for a while. Every so often some of the childhood games I played pop into my mind and I try to see if they were played by some of my younger relatives as kids. They remember a few and those they are not familiar with get looks like"WHAT THE HECK IS SHE TALKING ABOUT!" | I'm trying to teach my daughter the few clapping games I remember such as Miss Mary Mack - Miss Lucy Had A Steamboat (a.k.a. Miss Suzie) - & Say, Say My Playmate (& Enemy). I've tried to explain "Rockin' Robin" to her, but that's always been a four person game. I guess I could figure out how to play it with only two... Anyway, I suddenly had a brilliant idea. Look them up on the internet! There must be loads of videos with kids doing this, right? *wah wah wah waaaaahhh* Fail. You know, it's a really bad sign when it's easier to find more videos of kids getting blooded into (or out of) gangs than it is to find examples of fun, laughter-inducing street games. |
